SAR Wealth Management is a privately owned Washington State registered Limited Liability Company (LLC), and is a registered Trade name of SAR Group LLC.

SAR Wealth Management grew out of a project to try and establish an Islamic Credit Union (ICU) in Bellevue, WA.

The original ICU project began from a chance meeting between a few Microsoft employees and our current President & CEO during the global financial crisis in the fall of 2008.

Many successful and wealthy Muslims (and non-Muslims) feel increasingly troubled by the irresponsible behavior of major investment firms. They are also troubled by the dubious financial instruments being used as investment and money management tools.

Sharing the same discomfort, this group of Microsoft employees encouraged our President & CEO to establish SAR Wealth Management so that their money could be managed in ways that reflect their own beliefs.
